First and foremost, we seek visionary management teams who are passionately pursuing sustainable business models – whether for-profit or nonprofit – to address important social and environmental challenges in our community.
Focus Sectors:
- Community and economic development (including real estate)
- Sustainable Agriculture (including distribution and retailing)
- Energy and Environmental Solutions
- Social Finance
Stage:
Seed, Early stage, or Growth stage
Investment:
$50K to $250K initially. Will lead or participate in syndicate rounds for larger financings up to $1M.
Security:
Equity, Near-equity, or Subordinate Debt
Geography:
North Carolina, with a priority focus on the Research Triangle region
